- City council visits Main Street issue, again Tuesday, March 9, 2010 @ 4:40AMROANOKE RAPIDS — Roanoke Rapids City Council discussed the issue of the Roanoke Avenue Business Alliance’s Main Street director again at its March work session Tuesday night at City Hall. As has been the case in the other instances, Council took no action on the matter. It seems the group may vote on the issue next Tuesday at its regular meeting at Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall.
