What happens to the deers who dies on the road by vehicles?

Here in NJ there are so many deers who dies just because they try to corss the road by the vehicles. I just wonder what happnes to their bodies?

1. They get processed into prison food. Even the bloated ones.
2. Well if they're in good condition sometimes people do come get them for the meat.
3. Sometimes the people that have hit the deer take them home & eat them.
4. I am not sure but i am vegetarian and feel very sorry for any animal that is turned into a food like hamburgers...ect... All i know is that the go to Animal heaven.
5. Down in the country part of georgia, people take them home and eat them. Even if they werent the ones to hit it.
6. MI no longer allows "un-inspected" meat to be fed to inmates. We always kept a list in dispatch of needy families. Driver of the car has first dibs. If they don't want it then dispatch would call the person from the top of the list. Many families wouldn't have been able to put meat on the table any other way. A permit was issued to whoever took the deer. M~
7. Here in NH, the driver who hit the deer decides. They can either take it themselves or have it destroyed. I hit one a few years ago and donated it to my local soup kitchen. We have an overpopulation problem here so it happens fairly frequently. The law may differ in NJ, though.
8. Many states have a game commision that is contacted with this occurs. This allowes them to keep tabs on the deer population. They also will respond and remove the deer and place them in a large mass grave along with the other animals collected.
9. deers??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. they take them and dump them off somewhere.
10. i grab it by the legs and throw it as far as i can into the woods or drag it into the wood line then the vultures eat it
11. U have to get a ranger to tag it and then you can have it. If it is taken to the butcher it has to have the tag or U get a fine for poaching
