how do I know if my vehicles will pass emissions in California?

I am moving to California and I was told that my vehicles would have to be tested. I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and a 2007 Ford Focus how do I know if my vehicles will pass emissions there?

1. you simply are going to have them tested, when they ask you to (the dmv) its 24.99 in some places...if you change the oil and service them on time it shouldnt be a problem

3. Take them to Mexifornia and get them tested.
4. most repair shops can check it to make sure its legal,they can scan the computer for trouble codes as well as test the amount of emissions its letting out in the air,it should be alright most vehicles built now days are legal so it should meet California,s emission laws as well,but have them checked,then you,ll know,there will be a small fee involved and if it needs anything they can give you a print out of what needs to be done on it,good luck with both of them.
5. before you have the cars tested, drive around for about a half hour, make sure that the waiting period is not too long, to have it tested (don't want engine to cool down)
