Where to find good unbiased information on the healthcare reform?

It seems like most of the information on the healthcare reform is so skewed one way or another. I was assigned to write a report 10-12 p. on who wins and loses. In particular this should focus on the different healthcare industries since it is for an investments class. An ideas where to start my search?

  1. www.mises.org www.lewrockwell.com http://www.ruwart.com/Healing/ ^^^ I especially recommend for you to read chapter 5, 6 & 7 in the link I gave you to Dr. Mary J. Ruwart's book. Not too long but very informative. Chapter 5: "Harming Our Health" Chapter 6: "Protecting Ourselves To Death" Chapter 7: "Creating Monopolies That Control Us"
  2. You can start with wikipedia and follow the sources http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care_reform_debate_in_the_United_States
  3. A bit hard really. The facts though are simple. I hope you find them of use. And good luck! FACT - Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should [1] FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [2] FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [3] FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage [4] FACT - Obama was elected by the American people to bring in change [5] FACT - Obama wants to stop insurance companies from screwing Americans [6] FACT - The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and Switzerland [7] Let me know if my facts are wrong, but please provide proof.
  4. You won't find any truly objective information on this. The only way is to read all the information you can find and draw your own conclusions. Good luck.
