What's next dems after healthcare? What other trillion dollar giveaway is on your radar?
Dems HAVE to buy votes to win seats; they can't win with ideas of freedom, individuality, and standing on your own two feet. After you dems socialize and destroy healthcare, what is the next trillion dollar boondoggle? What else are you going to give away? Will you dems only stop when we're a communist nation where the wealth is distributed evenly and fairly?

- Hopefully after national health care is implemented, and it turns out that the world is still spinning, it'll silence a lot of stupid accusations and attacks, although I'm sure it won't. I suppose you want to privatize the police, too. Because, of course, only people who can AFFORD them should be able to use their services. This is AMERICA. Sheesh, at least use a strawman argument or something, instead of just the token partisan "you don't agree with me, therefore you are wrong and also stupid" rhetoric.
- They are working on many destructive things. Cap and Tax Value Added Tax Higher gasoline taxes Immigration "reform" (amnesty)
- They're not going to get their healthcare. Even Dem's realize that a plan that would leave 36 million uninsured and cost $63,600 per family to implement is an impossible sell. Obama's healthcare plan is dead-on-arrival!
- That is why my "Hybrid Economic System" is the next logical choice. You start with a socialist base: everyone gets food, clothing, shelter, education & health care. THEN, you put your capitalist economy on top of that: if anyone wants more, they get off their butts and EARN it! The 2 systems working together reduce the effects of each other’s negatives. There is no stagnation under socialism, because capitalism is there to provide incentive. And, the constant level of activity under the socialist base mitigates the fluctuations under capitalism. Example: Mr. X lives in a barracks style facility. He lives in one large room with 80-100 others. He has a locker and half a bunk bed. He has a roof over his head, but he wants more. He wants his own place. He gets counseling for his mental problem, He gets educated in something he enjoys doing, gets a job doing it, and gets a 1-bedroom apartment. He is on his way up. [CONSERVATIVES: YOU should love this, it turns tax burdens into taxpayers!]
- Were you this offended when the bankers got their bail out ? Or do you only get upset when the people that aren't wealthy get help ? A person use to be able to get a job that you could make a living, now it is next to impossible. The salaries have gone down while at the same time the cost of living went up. The distance between the rich & poor is getting wider & wider, the middle class are becoming non existent. The health care was already destroyed. The Busch administration went to bat for the doctors, insurance companies, drug companies, hospitals, & anything related. As a result health coverage became available for the wealthy or the welfare recepients. The middle class left behind. My spouse lost his job after 30 years. No, we could not afford to cobra the insurance at $1300 a month. He cashed in a retirement plan to be able to exist. It lost $40,000 with the wallsteet nightmare. It took paying an attorney to be able to get it. They took another $30,000 in penalties for early withdrawal & taxes. All said & done barely a years salary. I had left my trade in order to stay home with the children. When I went to return I found out they had no openings. We live in a modest home that is almost paid off, with low payments. I buy a new vehicle every 8 years. He buys used vehicles when necessary. So no we aren't the kind of people that didn't live with in our means. For the first time in our lives at age 40 & 50 we have had to resort to public assistance. My children get healthcare that I'm very greatful for because one of the children has health issues. We ourselves are uninsured. He gets unemployment, thanks to the democrats. In our state due to the high unemployment rate it had run out. I'm able to go to a medical trade school through a program in the hopes that I will once again beable to support my family. As far as him, I don't know where a 50 year old contruction worker will go. I would have never dreamed that with all my careful planning we would end up on public assistance. I'm very thankful we have it though. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I can't wait to once again be a working citizen. I'm guessing you didn't get effected by the economy. I hope you don't.
