What will happen to healthcare workers salary if Hilary Clinton wins the election, or any other canidate?
I am going to school to become a healthcare worker and in one of my classes we were talking about the election and how it's outcome will affect our income as healthcare workers. I was just wondering which canidates plan for healthcare will affect our income.

- Government intervention on anything is its downfall. I would definitely say the salary of healthcare and doctors would be minimized if the Government were to get involved. Anything "Government" will affect your income.
- I understand the Government pays better and has better benefits than the private sector. They would like their new higher salaries.
- How well do we pay our public school teachers? In all actuality, there will be a shortage of doctors, particularly GPs. Already docs are overloaded with patients, are rushed through, and can't spend individual time. Adding however many more to the rolls may give everyone insurance, but can you actually get in to see a doctor? I'm guessing demand for nurse practicioners will skyrocket. However, I don't think pay will go up - just the testing and standards for licensure will go down.
- What is sick about health-care is obscene profit. There is a lot of profit in disease peddling. Why are we surprised that Hilary wants to make everyone buy medical insurance? Profits for the medical industry who then fund her campaign. The way to genuine health care --the kind that actually prevents disease AND helps people get better, is to eliminate the profit motive. That is the true spirit of universal health care. But that's not what Hilary is proposing.
- McCain =1st the most Obama=2nd next to the most Clinton=3rd the least The healthcare deal is about all Americans being covered by insurance. Not about how much you are being paid unless you are going to be a doctor ,or own a hospital or something a long these lines.
