  1. government run philhealth. for private companies, we have caritas shield, philam maxicare and a lot that went bankrupt
  2. Hospitals, Doctors, and specialists are readily available throughout The Philippines. I've used several. Costs are reasonable on a pay-as-you-go basis. If someone were to introduce insurance/managed care into the equation it would probably put the costs way out of reach for a lot of people who need the care more than they need the insurance. It's not broke, don't try to fix it.
  3. www.philhealth.gov.ph
  4. Our company uses Maxicare. Below is its official website: http://www.maxicare.com.ph/ Aside from Maxicare, we also give contributions to Philhealth. http://www.philhealth.gov.ph/ My former company uses Intellicare. Its website is below: http://www.intellicare.com.ph/home.asp I also know of Fortune Care. http://www.fcarehmo.com.ph/ There's Blue Cross too: http://www.bluecross.com.ph/ Hope this helps. :)
  5. Under the Primary Health Care, we have a lot of programs and projects pertaining to health promotion and disease prevention There below is a link for Department of Health (Philippines)... they have a lot of programs... I think they also have a legal basis at this site ^^
