Should GM just make a lot of Volt electric vehicles and offer them at a lower price? Instead of just teasing us or slowly releasing the vehicles or initially offering them at prices over $30,000, I think GM should go for it and start full production selling the cars at no more than $25,000. Would you be more likely to buy one if it was priced at $25,000 and then you get $7,500 government rebate, bringing the effective price to $17,500? I think they would be flying off the lots faster than they could make them. What do you think?
